OUR PROGRAMS
At Pinpoint+ Skills Lab, we recognize that families invest a significant amount of resources in finding the most appropriate support for their child. For this reason, we aim to meet their efforts with the highest quality of clinical care.
Consultation
Assess and address behaviors of concern on a limited or as-needed basis with a BCBA. Consultation may include conducting functional assessments, developing and implementing intervention plans, and ongoing support/coaching to implement the interventions effectively. These services are tailored for families and schools and can be conducted in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.

Functional Behavior Assessment
A functional behavior assessment (FBA) is a comprehensive and individualized evaluation to identify the purpose, or function, of an individual's challenging behavior. A behavior intervention plan is then developed based on the collected information to better support the child. This plan will address variables that may be maintaining the behavior, and provide appropriate replacement behavior(s) that serve the same function as the challenging behavior.

ABA Therapy
PSL uses a focused model approach. Treatment involves 5-15 hours per week of 1:1 therapy and primarily utilizes the PEAK and AIM curricula. The goal is to help individuals increase their skills and independence and improve their overall quality of life. ABA is the current gold standard of treatment for individuals with autism and recommended by numerous professional organizations.
Parent/caregiver training is a crucial part of treatment and helps families implement recommendations in different environments. |
